Abstract

LUSI embankment classifies as earth fill. There have been several failures, including collapses, overtopping, slides, horizontal and vertical deformations, and seepage. In order to identify potential failures in the LUSI embankment the self-potential method is used in south of LUSI embankment, particularly where there is liquid of mud. In this study, ensemble Kalman inversion (EKI) approach is used to quantitative interpretation of SP data for identifying the positions of anomalous sources. The anomalous is correlated with accumulation of fluid in the embankment and seepage through embankment.
