Abstract

Video summary aims to facilitate the process of browsing and retrieval of video. Selecting key frames from each segment shot is one way of summarizing video. Selection of key frames is done by comparing the histogram of each frame to determine the distance between two consecutive frames. Determines the distance between the two frames used Euclidean distance method. If the distance of two frames does not exceed the specified number, then the frame is considered to be Similar. If the distance of two frames exceeds the limit, then the frame is considered to be dissimilar. If two frames are dissimilar, then shot segmentation is considered changed. Each segment is taken two key frames, the first frame and last frame of each segment. Two key frame (per segment) were selected randomly one to serve as a comic strip. Comic strip sequentially collected to be displayed on one page, one page is formed of a comic strip that consists of four. A collection of some pages will form into a comic book.
