Abstract

This research is focused on modeling a simple passing room for a 'smart campus laboratory' design. The initial work of the passing room is using an air shower to clean off contamination from a person before entering the laboratory. The difference between the medical air shower and the passing room model is the maximum blower capacity to clean the contamination on a person and the generated pressure. The implementation result was a 1:4 room model implemented with a door interlock system, automatic blower response, and controlled oxygen purging by a pressure sensor.
