title = "Sliding Mode Control for Autonomous Vehicle Systems",
abstract = "Autonomous car is an unmanned car that can move which can carry out commands by itself. It is a technology that is being developed for further research. One of them is being developed by ITS whose creating an intelligent car called i-Car. An autonomous car requires a controller so it can move along the desired track. This research will control the two scenarios using the Sliding Mode Control (SMC) method. The first scenario controls the autonomous car to move along the y = 0 (on track). The second controls the autonomous car to move along the y = 7 (out track). This control is equally done by setting to keep the speed constant. The results of the first and second scenarios show that the surge velocity and yaw angle respond constantly at the setpoint. The movement also follows the desired trajectory.",
