Abstract

Ontology is widely known as a conceptual framework that represents a domain of knowledge. One of the challenges in the area of ontology is ontology matching with a specific purpose. This paper offers a method for performing ontology matching on the business process model to find fraud. The ontology matching approach used is ontology matching based on the ontology structure of the business process model. The experiment is based on a real business process, it is the business process of procurement of goods and services. There is one model that is used as a reference of truth according to operational standard procedure. Furthermore, some cases will be compared with the standard model using the ontology matching based on structure. The experimental results show that the structural approach in ontology matching proved able to detect the fraud that occurs in some business process model. This research is expected to contribute to the company to conduct fraud analysis with the approach proposed in this paper.
