Abstract
The BaTiO3–BiFeO3–KVO3 based powder was prepared by mixing synthesized precursors before calcination. BaTiO3 prepared using co-precipitation, BiFeO3 using sol–gel auto combustion, and KVO3 using conventional solid-state reaction. Thermal analysis was taken to recognize and organize calcination temperature. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) were carried out to identify the phase present after heat treatment. The XRD pattern shows that the calcined powder has a tetragonal structure with a P4mm space group possessing nanometric particle size. The impedance plot shows two semicircles, which signifies the existence of two relaxation processes associated with the inner grain and grain boundary.
