Abstract

According to the current state of society, electrical demand needs are huge. This causes the electricity demand to increase. In the current condition, the electricity company must be able to improve the company's performance so that the target of electricity needs of the community is achieved. This study aims to develop a dynamics model of electricity demand and capacity planning of PT. PJB (Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali) so that it can meet the increasing of electricity needs. The development ofthis model uses the System Dynamics approach, with the consideration that System Dynamics is part of the system thinking concept, which will form a very complex system. Based on the system that has been made, several scenario models have been produced. The scenario model of the demand system and capacity planning illustrates that output of PT. PJB can meet the electrical energy needs of East Java Distribution. With annual production increasing due to sales growth ofPT. PJB.
