N2 - Air Conditioner is widely used in residential and commercial buildings. The air conditioner has the highest power consumption. The aspect of thermal comfort that affects human life can cause a high rate of air conditioner usage. This paper proposes the smart air conditioner controller that implements the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The Internet of Things (IoT) has become popular, especially for automation. The rapid development of the internet, increase the possibilities for further application of IoT. This research is expected to develop an innovative application that can monitor the usage of power in air conditioner based on the temperature and humidity. An additional device is developed in this research to monitor the usage of electricity that is named as Termo. Termo is composed of an ESP8266 microcontroller, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, and an infrared LED transmitter.
