N2 - Function Point (FP) was one method for measuring the Effort Estimation (EE) that has been used to measure the value of functionality in software development. The use of FP for EE aimed to gather of how long and how many resources would take to accomplish a software. This method was chosen due to the advantages of the calculation model based on the number of required functions, and the data available at the stage of the input documents preparation.Generally, there have been three types of input documents, (i) Used Case (UC), (ii) Data Flow Diagram (DFD), and (iii) Natural Language (NL), which allowed for variations of accuracy in the calculation of EE. This estimation would then affect the pricing/cost. This study aims to determine the accuracy of those input documents to calculate the most precise EE or approaching the Actual Effort (AE).The research findings are: (i) the pattern of FP calculation was different on each model of the input document, and (ii) the best accuracy of EE in approaching AA sequentially is DFD, UC, and NL.
