N2 - Circular economy offers a concept approach that aims to create a more sustainable environment. Sustainable water infrastructure needs to refer to the design, development, and processing of water infrastructure by emphasizing long-term sustainability for the environment, economy, and society. By adopting a circular economy approach, it can unite the main aspects of sustainable development and economic benefits which in its implementation are central to the Asset Management Plan. Circular economy strategies can reduce costs when infrastructure can adapt to maintenance and operation. This article discusses scientific research that uses bibliometric techniques to better understand subject research trends. A bibliometric study aims to describe water infrastructure cost assessments by activity, issue, and topical interest, provide a detailed explanation of data mining, and present and analyze results based on bibliometric data to determine performance, developments, and trends in the field of study. This article reviews existing research on related topics to broaden the scope of knowledge.
