Abstract

Minimal length as the small space limitation affects quantum mechanics significantly. In this paper, we calculate how the minimal length becomes correction of the efficiency of the quantum Otto heat engine. First, we take a particle that is trapped at an infinite potential well system as a model. The eigenenergy with minimal length a correction is obtained. And then we govern the thermodynamic processes of the quantum Otto heat engine that consist of two isoenergetic and two isochoric processes. Minimal length affects effectively to the efficiency of quantum Otto heat engine at the small width of the potential well.
