abstract = "The design of a steam flow and capacity monitoring system for a SCADA-based boiler machine at PT Biofarma has been carried out. This monitoring or monitoring system aims to determine the capacity of hot steam used in units (Kg/h), the flow rate of hot steam (M3/h) and the total use of steam capacity released by the steam boiler output. This monitoring system uses an existing flow sensor measuring instrument with a differential pressure type and a new flow sensor with an ultrasonic type. This sensor measuring instrument is integrated with a programmable logic controller (PLC) device to process input data from the sensor to display flow data, capacity and total use of hot steam released by the boiler. Data visualization that has been processed by the PLC will be displayed on a PC via a web page and can be accessed via smartphone.",
