N2 - The warehouse at PT. Autonik Pack Machinery currently lacks a system to accurately check the actual stock levels, leading to confusion due to discrepancies in item naming. For instance, there are records of 10 "BEARING"pieces and 20 "bearing"pieces, which are actually the same item but are listed differently in the existing manual system. This mismatch between the recorded data and the actual stock in the warehouse can lead to unexpected stock shortages, and sometimes results in purchasing excess items even though there is still ample stock in the warehouse. To address this issue, a new warehouse management system is being developed. It will utilize a desktop application that tracks items as they are stocked in and out, and monitors current inventory, all with the assistance of RFID technology. The system, named Mywarehouse, will feature different access levels for various users such as administrators, accountants, management, and the electrical division. There is also an Android app that integrates with the desktop application, which will make it easier for employees to obtain the items they need and for accountants to track everything without waiting for updates from the administrators or having to physically check the warehouse. The new system has been tested to ensure its effectiveness. It has been rated at 97.9% for its functionality and 96.7% for its overall quality based on user feedback. Moreover, it has proven to be faster, taking approximately 7 seconds to process incoming stock, 5 seconds for outgoing stock, and around 3 hours to summarize all item data at once.
