title = "Workarounds Analysis in Report Making at A Rolling Stock Manufacturing Company",
abstract = "The advent of technology and digitalization has brought about a significant transformation in the manufacturing industry, and ERP implementation needs adjustments in its use. Poor data quality and incomplete data hinder the optimal use of ERP. One of the main factors affecting data quality is the occurrence of workarounds, which are adaptive activities to overcome the limitations of ERP systems. The background of this research is focused on identifying workarounds in making production progress reports at Rolling Stock Manufacturing Companies. The method used is a case study with data collection through semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and field observations. The main objective is understanding how workarounds can benefit organizations by addressing data availability and consistency issues. The results showed that double recording, double checking, double data reporting, and mismatch tracking effectively resolve current data challenges. In conclusion, the implications of this study indicate that the implementation of workarounds in the Indonesian manufacturing industry can be an effective strategy to overcome data availability and consistency issues.",
